This Care New England-hosted patient portal allows our patients limited access to selected lab and X-ray results. Lab results may be posted before a physician has reviewed them. Please understand slight variations outside of normal range are quite common on CBC and chemistry results.

We feel strongly that email or portal communication for pediatric patient care is ill-advised, as the level of concern in a parent’s voice is of great importance to us.

Please understand that you CAN NOT use email or this portal to contact us, despite what is presented as available on the MyChart page. Also, we
must protect teenagers’ privacy, so this portal is not available for teen patients.

PAYMENT AND INSURANCE... WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

We currently participate in the following major health insurance plans:
  • All Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans (Nationwide)
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Tufts Health Plan/Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
  • Cigna
  • Aetna
  • TRICARE
  • HealthCare Value Management, Inc.
  • MultiPlan

For members with RIteCare (Rhode Island’s Medicaid), we participate in UnitedHealthcare and Tufts Health Plan. We DO NOT accept the Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island. Please choose UnitedHealthcare or Tufts Health RITogether plans instead!

Some restrictions may apply, and some newer or smaller health plans are added occasionally, so please call our office manager for better information. Please bring your current health insurance card and any required co-payment with you at the time of each visit. All applicable co-payments are collected upon check-in for the appointment. For managed care plans, we require that our names (or those of doctors in our on-call group) MUST be listed on your child’s insurance card.
